Introduction

     Hello. My name, as the title of this page should make clear, is Jake. I am 32 years old, an aspiring author, a Peanut M&M diehard, an Oxford comma supporter, and a sometimes okayish artist. (Picture of a piece by me as proof)

    I don't know what I plan to do with this blog. Talk about my writing? I suppose. Talk about the world, or at least how I perceive it? Odds are good. Discuss the nerdy, geeky things I love? You bet your sweet bippy.

    I don't imagine these will be long posts. I value brevity very highly as both reader and writer. In the words of the great Kevin Malone, "Why say lot word when few word do trick?"

    I doubt this will garner any attention from anyone, least of all the people I would need to attract to further my publishing career, but maybe that isn't what this needs to be about. Maybe this doesn't have to be for them but, like I try to make my other writing, this can be written for a audience of one: me. And whatever comes will come.
